Fuel Pressure Regulator -- Installation |
1. INSTALL FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR ASSEMBLY |
Apply a light coat of spindle oil or gasoline to a new O-ring and install the O-ring to the fuel pressure regulator assembly.
Install the fuel pressure regulator assembly with the 3 bolts.
- Torque:
- 9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
Connect the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 8.0 N*m{82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf}
Attach the wire harness clamp.
Connect the purge VSV connector.
2. CONNECT NO. 2 FUEL HOSE |
Connect the No. 2 fuel hose, and slide the clamp to secure the hose.
3. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY |
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (LandCruiser RM000003YMF011X.html).
5. INSPECT FOR FUEL LEAK |
Make sure that there are no fuel leaks after performing maintenance on the fuel system.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.
- NOTICE:
- Do not start the engine.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Active Test / Control the Fuel Pump / Speed.
Check that there are no leaks from the fuel system.
If there are fuel leaks, repair or replace parts as necessary.Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the GTS from the DLC3.
