Diesel Throttle Body Removal


  1. DISCONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE

  2. DISCONNECT NO. 4 VACUUM TRANSMITTING PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE PIPE

  4. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

Diesel Throttle Body -- Removal



1. DISCONNECT INLET HEATER WATER HOSE

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the inlet heater water hose.



2. DISCONNECT NO. 4 VACUUM TRANSMITTING PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 4 vacuum transmitting pipe.



3. REMOVE NO. 1 INTAKE PIPE


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Disconnect the 3 connectors from the intake air temperature sensor, throttle control motor and manifold absolute pressure sensor.

  1. Detach the 2 clamps.

  1. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the manifold absolute pressure sensor.

  1. Loosen the 2 hose clamps of the No. 1 air hose.

  1. Loosen the hose clamp of the intercooler air hose.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and No. 1 intake pipe.



4. REMOVE DIESEL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.



    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, diesel throttle body and gasket.
