Rear Differential Carrier Assembly (W/ Differential Lock) -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL REAR DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY |
Remove any dust and oil from the differential carrier assembly and the contact surfaces of the axle housing.
Install a new gasket and the differential carrier assembly with the 11 nuts and 11 washers.
- Torque:
- 52 N*m{530 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf}
Connect the differential lock actuator connector.
Connect the rear differential lock actuator breather hose to the differential actuator assembly.
| 2. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT LH |
Install the rear axle shaft LH (LandCruiser RM0000016XB01AX.html).

- Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
| 4. INSTALL PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY |
Install the propeller shaft assembly (LandCruiser RM0000029WN00TX.html).
