Vane Pump (For 5L-E) Removal


  1. REMOVE VANE PUMP V BELT

  2. DISCONNECT OIL RESERVOIR TO NO. 1 PUMP HOSE

  3. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

  5. REMOVE VANE PUMP PULLEY

  6. REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

Vane Pump (For 5L-E) -- Removal


NOTICE:
  1. When using a vise, do not overtighten it.
  2. When installing the parts indicated by arrows, coat them with power steering fluid (LandCruiser RM000000WNZ00DX.html).


1. REMOVE VANE PUMP V BELT


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155.Power Assist Systems.Power Steering System (W/ Vsc).Vane Pump (For 5L-E)  Removal
  1. Loosen the bolt and nut and remove the V belt.



2. DISCONNECT OIL RESERVOIR TO NO. 1 PUMP HOSE


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Slide the clip and disconnect the oil hose.



3. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY


    Land Cruiser, Land Cruiser Prado. Grj150 Trj150,155 Kdj150,155 Lj150, Gdj150,155
  1. Remove the union bolt and gasket and disconnect the pressure feed tube.



4. REMOVE FAN SHROUD
  1. Remove the fan shroud (LandCruiser RM00000144G029X_01_0012.html).



5. REMOVE VANE PUMP PULLEY

  1. Using SST, remove the nut and vane pump pulley.

6. REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and vane pump.
