  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  3. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

  4. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (except 4WD and Pre-Runner)

  6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

  7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)

  8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET

  10. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH

  11. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET

  14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH

  15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH

Front Bumper -- Removal



1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Exterior Panels Trim.Front Bumper.Front Bumper Removal

  1. Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

  1. Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.



2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 clips and 6 screws.

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 screws and 5 clips.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 6 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

  1. w/ Fog Light:
    Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.



3. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 2 clips, 3 bolts and engine side cover.



4. REMOVE ENGINE SIDE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (except 4WD and Pre-Runner)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 4 clips, 5 bolts and No. 1 engine under cover.



6. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION LH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper reinforcement extension.



7. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT EXTENSION RH (for 4WD and Pre-Runner)
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


8. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 4 nuts and front bumper reinforcement.



9. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER MOUNTING BRACKET
HINT:
Use the same procedure for both front bumper mounting brackets.

  1. Remove the bolt and front bumper mounting bracket.



10. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 clips.

  1. Detach the claw and remove the radiator side deflector.



11. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.


12. REMOVE NO. 2 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the bolt and No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.



13. REMOVE NO. 1 FRONT BUMPER RETAINER BRACKET
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the No. 2 front bumper retainer bracket.


14. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the screw and bolt.

  1. Detach the 2 claws and remove the front bumper side support.



15. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
