DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) receives signals from the yaw rate sensor assembly via the CAN communication system.If there is trouble in the bus lines between the yaw rate sensor assembly and the CAN communication system, DTCs U0123 (Lost Communication with Yaw Rate Sensor Module) and U0124 (Lost Communication with Lateral Acceleration Sensor Module) are stored.DTC C1436 is also stored when calibration is not completed.DTC Code

- With the vehicle stationary, the yaw rate and acceleration sensor output value is not 0 deg/s.
- An abnormal comparison value.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- After replacing the yaw rate sensor assembly, perform calibration (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000XHR073X.html).
- HINT:
- When DTC U0123 and/or U0124 is output together with DTC C1436, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by DTC U0123 and/or U0124 first (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000YUO0ECX.html).
1.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (YAW RATE SENSOR, YAW RATE SENSOR 2) |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Data List.

2.CHECK YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION |
Turn the ignition switch off.
Check that the yaw rate sensor assembly is installed properly (HILUX_TGN26 RM000000SS204AX.html).
- OK:
- The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.
- The sensor is not installed at an angle.
