Key Reminder Warning System -- System Description



KEY REMINDER WARNING SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

  1. When the driver side door is opened while the ignition switch is off and the key is in the ignition key cylinder, or while the ignition switch is ACC, this system causes a key reminder warning buzzer in combination meter assembly to sound in order to warn the driver that the key has not been removed.


FUNCTION OF MAIN COMPONENT

Front door courtesy light switch assembly LH
Detects the driver side door status (open or closed) and outputs a signal to the combination meter assembly.
Unlock warning switch assembly
Detects if the key is inserted into the ignition key cylinder or not and outputs a signal to the combination meter assembly.
Combination meter assembly
After the combination meter assembly receives an ignition switch off signal, unlock warning switch assembly on signal and front door courtesy light switch RH on signal, and activates the inner circuit to sound the built-in buzzer intermittently.
