Vacuum Regulating Valve -- Installation |
| 1. INSTALL ELECTRIC VACUUM REGULATING VALVE ASSEMBLY (for EGR) |
Install the electric vacuum regulating valve together with the bracket with the 2 bolts.
- Torque:
- 20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}
w/ EGR Cooler:
Connect the 4 vacuum hoses.- NOTICE:
- Install the vacuum hoses so that they completely cover the pipes.
w/o EGR Cooler:
Connect the 2 vacuum hoses.- NOTICE:
- Install the vacuum hoses so that they completely cover the pipes.
Connect the connector.
| 2. INSTALL NO. 1 GAS FILTER WITH GAS FILTER BRACKET (w/ EGR Cooler) |
Install the No. 1 gas filter with gas filter bracket with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 20 N*m{204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf}
Connect the 2 vacuum hoses.
- NOTICE:
- Install the vacuum hoses so that they completely cover the pipes.
| 3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ EGR Cooler) |
Install the engine cover with the 3 bolts and 2 cap nuts.
- Torque:
- 7.0 N*m{71 kgf*cm, 62 in.*lbf}
| 4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o EGR Cooler) |
Attach the 4 claws to the pins of the cover bracket to install the engine cover.
