INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.
1.CHECK THAT DISC IS INSERTED PROPERLY

  1. Check whether or not the disc is inserted upside down.

    OK:
    The disc is properly inserted.

2.CHECK DISC


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked.

    OK:
    No deformation or cracks in the disc.

CHANGE DISC

3.DISC CLEANING


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction.

    NOTICE:
    Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative.

4.CHECK FOR DTC

  1. Clear the DTCs (HILUX_TGN26 RM0000014CZ0AYX.html).

  1. Check for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

    OK:
    Malfunction disappears.

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR6001X.html)

5.REINSERT DISC PROPERLY

  1. Replace the disc with a normal one.

  1. Clear the DTCs (HILUX_TGN26 RM0000014CZ0AYX.html).

  1. Check for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

    OK:
    Malfunction disappears.
