Front Brake Flexible Hose (For 2Wd) Removal

  1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL

  2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID

  3. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE

Front Brake Flexible Hose (For 2Wd) -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL


2. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTICE:
Wash off brake fluid immediately if it comes in contact with any painted surface.


3. REMOVE FRONT FLEXIBLE HOSE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the union bolt and gasket and disconnect the front flexible hose.

  1. Using a union nut wrench, disconnect the brake line while holding the front flexible hose with a wrench.

    NOTICE:
    1. Do not kink or damage the brake line.
    2. Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line.

  1. Remove the clip.

  1. Remove the bolt and front flexible hose from the absorber bracket.
