  1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY

Differential Pressure Sensor -- On-Vehicle Inspection

1. CHECK DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / DPNR Differential Pressure.

  1. Disconnect the No. 6 exhaust pipe air hose from the sensor.

  1. Check the pressure value of the sensor.

    Standard pressure:
Approximately the same pressure as the applied pressure indicated on the tester.
    HINT:
Perform the inspection by applying a pressure within the range of 0 to 98 kPa (0 to 1.0 kgf/cm2, 0 to 14.2 psi).
If the result is not as specified, check the sensor circuit (HILUX_TGN26 RM00000188F02LX.html).
  1. Connect the No. 6 exhaust pipe air hose to the differential pressure sensor.
