Headlight Assembly Removal

Vehicle Exterior. Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH

Headlight Assembly -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.


1. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Lighting (Ext).Lighting System.Headlight Assembly Removal

  1. Put protective tape around the radiator grille.

  1. Remove the 2 clips and 2 screws.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.



2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 3 clips and 6 screws.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Lighting (Ext).Lighting System.Headlight Assembly Removal

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper cover.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 screws and 5 clips.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 6 claws and remove the front bumper cover.

  1. w/ Fog Light:
    Disconnect the 2 fog light connectors.



3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Lighting (Ext).Lighting System.Headlight Assembly Removal

  1. Put protective tape around the headlight assembly LH.

  1. Remove the 3 screws and bolt.

  1. Disconnect the connectors and remove the headlight assembly LH.
