REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission)

| 1. PRECAUTION |
- NOTICE:
- After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR1003X.html).
| 2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL |
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (HILUX_TGN26 RM000004QR3003X.html).
| 3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER SEAL |
Remove the 5 clips and seal.
| 4. DISCONNECT CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) |
Remove the 2 bolts and clutch release cylinder.

| 5. REMOVE TRANSMISSION OIL FILLER TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) |

Remove the oil level dipstick.
Remove the 2 bolts and transmission oil filler tube.
Remove the O-ring from the transmission oil filler tube.
| 6. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY |

Disconnect the starter connector.
Remove the nut and disconnect the starter wire.
for Automatic Transmission:
Remove the 2 nuts, bolt, ground cable and starter.

for Manual Transmission:
Remove the nut, bolt, ground cable and starter.
