  1. REMOVE UPPER RELAY BLOCK COVER

  2. INSPECT NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY (HORN RELAY)

  3. INSTALL UPPER RELAY BLOCK COVER

Integration Relay -- On-Vehicle Inspection



1. REMOVE UPPER RELAY BLOCK COVER

  1. Remove the upper relay block cover.



2. INSPECT NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY (HORN RELAY)

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and disconnect the No. 1 integration relay from the engine room junction block.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		Condition
    		Specified Condition
    1I-8 - 1H-1
    		Battery voltage is not applied to terminals 1H-1 and 1I-7
    		10 kΩ or higher
    Battery voltage is applied to terminals 1H-1 and 1I-7
    		Below 1 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 1 integration relay.

  1. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 integration relay to the engine room junction block.



3. INSTALL UPPER RELAY BLOCK COVER

  1. Install the upper relay block cover.
