  1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Cushion)

  2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Cushion)

  3. REMOVE LOWER BACK PANEL GARNISH

  4. REMOVE UPPER BACK PANEL GARNISH

  5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH

  8. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

Rear Seat Outer Belt Assembly (For Extra Cab) -- Removal


HINT:
  1. Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  2. The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
  3. A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (HILUX_TGN26 RM00000118R007X.html).


1. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Cushion)


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Operate the rear seat cushion lock hook release lever and pull up the rear seat cushion assembly LH to detach the hook.

  1. Detach the 2 hooks and rear seat cushion assembly LH.



2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Seat Cushion)
HINT:
Use the same procedures described for the LH side.


3. REMOVE LOWER BACK PANEL GARNISH


Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 6 claws, 2 guides and 5 clips and remove the lower back panel garnish.



4. REMOVE UPPER BACK PANEL GARNISH


Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the 4 claws and 5 clips and remove the upper back panel garnish.



5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the 2 bolts.

  1. Lift up the rear seatback assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow to detach the 2 hooks from the vehicle body. Then remove the rear seatback assembly.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.


6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  1. Put protective tape around the front door scuff plate.

  1. Using a moulding remover, detach the 4 clips and 8 claws and remove the front door scuff plate.



7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM LH

  1. Remove the front door opening trim.



8. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the front seat outer belt floor anchor.



    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Remove the bolt and disconnect the rear No. 1 seat outer belt floor anchor.

  1. Detach the 4 claws, 3 guides and 7 clips and remove the quarter inside trim board.



9. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and open the seat belt anchor cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Remove the bolt and rear No. 1 seat outer belt assembly LH.
