Front Wiper Rubber Replacement

Vehicle Exterior. Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE

  2. REMOVE WIPER RUBBER

  3. INSTALL WIPER RUBBER

  4. INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE

Front Wiper Rubber -- Replacement



1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER BLADE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

  1. Remove the front wiper blade as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Do not fold the wiper arm with the wiper blade removed. The arm tip may damage the windshield surface.


2. REMOVE WIPER RUBBER


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Detach the head part (large side) of the wiper rubber from the wiper blade.

  1. Remove the wiper rubber in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Do not pull out the wiper rubber forcibly. Doing so will deform the backing plates or damage the blade claw.

  1. Remove the 2 wiper rubber backing plates from the wiper rubber.



3. INSTALL WIPER RUBBER


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25.Wiper Washer.Wiper And Washer System.Front Wiper Rubber Replacement

  1. Install the 2 backing plates to the rubber.

    NOTICE:
    Install the backing plates facing the proper direction.

  1. Install the wiper rubber to the claw of the wiper blade in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Install the wiper rubber so that the head part (large side) of the wiper rubber faces the arm axle.

  1. Attach the head part (large side) of the rear wiper rubber to the claw on the end of the wiper blade.

    NOTICE:
    Push the wiper blade into the grooves of the wiper rubber to attach the wiper rubber completely.


4. INSTALL FRONT WIPER BLADE


    Hilux. Tgn26, 36 Kun25, 26, 35, 36 Ggn25

  1. Attach the claw to install the front wiper blade.
