Manual Transmission Extension Housing Oil Seal -- Replacement |
| 1. REMOVE PROPELLER WITH CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSEMBLY |
| 2. REMOVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING OIL SEAL |
Using SST, tap out the manual transmission extension housing oil seal.

- 09308-00010
- NOTICE:
- Do not damage the installation surfaces of the manual transmission case.

| 3. INSTALL MANUAL TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING OIL SEAL |
Coat the lip of a new oil seal with MP grease.
 |
Using SST and a hammer, tap in the manual transmission extension housing oil seal.
- SST
- 09223-00010
- Standard depth:
- -0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0196 to 0.0196 in.)
- NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the lip of the oil seal.
