Wireless Door Lock Control System (For Built-In Type Door Control Receiver) -- System Description |
| WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION |
This system locks and unlocks the vehicle's doors remotely. The wireless door lock control system has the following features:
- The door control receiver is built into the theft warning ECU assembly. The theft warning ECU assembly performs the code identification process and operates the door lock control. A serial data link is provided for communication in the theft warning ECU assembly.
- A key-integrated type transmitter is used and it contains the following 3 switches: the door lock switch, door unlock switch and alarm switch.
- An LED is built into the transmitter so that the battery status can be checked.
- The door control receiver is built into the theft warning ECU assembly. The theft warning ECU assembly performs the code identification process and operates the door lock control. A serial data link is provided for communication in the theft warning ECU assembly.

| SYSTEM FUNCTION |
The wireless door lock control system has the following functions.
Function Outline All door lock function Pressing lock switch locks all doors. All door unlock function Pressing unlock switch unlocks all doors. Answer-back function* - When the doors are locked by a wireless operation, the hazard warning lights and side turn signal lights flash once and the security horn assembly sounds once.
- When the doors are unlocked by a wireless operation, the hazard warning lights flash and side turn signal lights twice and the security horn assembly sounds twice.
Remote alarm function Pressing the alarm switch of the transmitter for more than approximately 0.8 seconds causes the following alarms to activate: - Sounds the horns.
- Flashes the hazard warning lights, and side turn signal lights.
Automatic locking function If no doors are opened within 30 seconds after they are unlocked by the door control transmitter assembly, all the doors lock again automatically. Door ajar warning function If any door is open or ajar, pressing the lock switch causes the security horn assembly to sound for approximately 10 seconds. Illuminated entry function - When the map light and No. 1 room light door switches are in the door position, and all the doors are locked, pressing the unlock switch causes the interior light illumination to turn on and all the doors to unlock simultaneously.
- If the doors have not been opened, the interior light turns off after approximately 15 seconds.
Security function Sends signal as rolling code. Transmitter recognition code registration function Enables 4 modes for registering (writing and storing) transmitter recognition codes in EEPROM, which is built into door control receiver. - *: The security horn assembly applies only if thee wireless answer-back function has been customized so that the hazard warning lights and side turn signal lights flash and the security horn sounds.
