Accelerator Pedal -- On-Vehicle Inspection



1. INSPECT ACCELERATOR PEDAL ROD ASSEMBLY

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  1. Turn the intelligent tester on.

  1. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List/ Accel Sensor Out No. 1, Accel Sensor Out No. 2.

  1. When depressing or releasing the accelerator pedal, check that the values of Accel Sensor Out No. 1 and Accel Sensor Out No. 2 are within the specification.

    Standard Voltage:

    If the result is not as specified, check the accelerator pedal rod assembly, wire harness and ECM.
