  1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

  3. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Manual Seat)

  4. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Power Seat)

  5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

Front Seat Side Airbag Assembly -- Installation



1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
  1. The nuts must not be reused.
  2. Make sure that the front seat frame assembly with adjuster is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

  1. Install the front seat side airbag assembly with 2 new nuts.

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf}

  1. Engage the 2 clamps.



2. INSTALL FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
for Manual Seat: (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000VBI0DYX_03_0066.html)
for Power Seat: (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000ARB02XX_01_0043.html)


3. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Manual Seat)

  1. Engage the claw and 2 wire harness clamps to install the airbag wire harness.

  1. Install the airbag wire harness to the seat track control cable clamp.

  1. Install the hook.



4. INSTALL AIRBAG WIRE HARNESS (for Power Seat)

  1. Engage the claw and 3 wire harness clamps to install the airbag wire harness.

  1. Install the 2 hooks.



5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
for Manual Seat: (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000Z8T0D2X.html)
for Power Seat: (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000Z8T0D1X.html)
