  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    LH Side
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    E105-5 (IG) - E105-6 (LH)
    		OFF
    		10 kΩ or higher
    E105-5 (IG) - E105-6 (LH)
    		ON
    		Below 1 Ω
    RH Side
    Tester Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    E105-4 (IG) - E105-3 (RH)
    		OFF
    		10 kΩ or higher
    E105-4 (IG) - E105-3 (RH)
    		ON
    		Below 1 Ω
    If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch.

  1. Turn the seat heater switch on and check if the seat heater switch indicator comes on.

    OK:
    LH Side
    Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → E105-5 (IG)
    Battery negative (-) → E105-2 (E)
    		ON
    		Comes on
    RH Side
    Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → E105-4 (IG)
    Battery negative (-) → E105-2 (E)
    		ON
    		Comes on
    If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch.

  1. Check if the seat heater switch comes on.

    OK:
    Connection
    		Switch Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery positive (+) → E105-7 (ILL+)
    Battery negative (-) → E105-8 (ILL-)
    		Always
    		Comes on
    If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch.
