  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

  5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

  6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

  7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  8. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH

  9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

  10. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH BOARD LH

  11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH

  12. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

  13. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

  15. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH BOARD RH

  16. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH

  17. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM BELT HOLE COVER

  18. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Spoiler)

  19. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Spoiler)

  20. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR

Child Restraint Seat Tether Anchor -- Removal



1. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the spare wheel cover.



2. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY


3. REMOVE REAR SEAT CENTER HEADREST ASSEMBLY


4. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141.Seat Belt.Seat Belt Warning System.Child Restraint Seat Tether Anchor Removal

  1. Detach the 2 front hooks of the seat cushion from the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.

    NOTICE:
    Follow the instructions below carefully as the cushion frame deforms easily.

    1. Choose a hook to detach first. Place your hands near the hook as shown in the illustration. Then lift the seat cushion to detach the hook.

    2. Repeat the above procedure for the other hook.

  1. Detach the rear hook of the seat cushion from the seatback.

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion assembly.



5. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 rear seat back clips.

  1. Fold the rear seatback assembly LH forward.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback assembly LH.



6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 rear seat back clips.

  1. Fold the rear seatback assembly RH forward.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and the rear seatback assembly RH.



7. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.



8. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH


9. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the 2 claws, 2 clips and guide, and remove the rear seat side garnish LH.



10. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH BOARD LH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides, and remove the roof side inner garnish board LH.



11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides, and remove the roof side inner garnish assembly LH.



12. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.


13. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH


14. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.


15. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH BOARD RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.


16. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side.


17. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM BELT HOLE COVER


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the package tray trim belt hole cover.



18. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Rear Spoiler)

  1. Disconnect the connector.



    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141.Seat Belt.Seat Belt Warning System.Child Restraint Seat Tether Anchor Removal

  1. Disengage the 3 clips and the 5 claws.

  1. Pull out the belts from the slits and then remove the package tray trim panel assembly.



19. REMOVE PACKAGE TRAY TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Spoiler)


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141.Seat Belt.Seat Belt Warning System.Child Restraint Seat Tether Anchor Removal

  1. Disengage the 3 clips and the 5 claws.

  1. Pull out the belts from the slits and then remove the package tray trim panel assembly.



20. REMOVE CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT TETHER ANCHOR


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Remove the bolt and child restraint seat tether anchor.
