INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

1. Some satellite radio broadcasts require payment. A contract must be made between a satellite radio company and the user. If the contract expires, it will not be possible to listen to the broadcast.
   
2. After replacing the radio and display receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, XM radio ID registration is necessary.
   

1. Check if the vehicle is in an environment where reception is difficult due to something blocking the area above the vehicle.
   

   
   
   
   

   HINT:

   If the area above the vehicle is blocked, such as when in a building or tunnel, reception may not be possible.

   OK:

   OK:

   Malfunction disappears.
   

   HINT:

   The XM radio ID that is necessary to perform activation refresh is displayed when CH000 is selected on the satellite radio.

   Result:

1. Check if the satellite radio antenna cable is securely connected to the radio and display receiver assembly.

   Satellite radio antenna cable is securely connected.
   

1. Replace the antenna cord sub-assembly (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000002XBA01DX.html).
   

2. Clear the DTCs (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000011BU0JUX.html).
   

3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
   

   OK:

   No DTCs are output.
   

1. Replace the harness and connector.
   

2. Clear the DTCs (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000011BU0JUX.html).
   

3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
   

   OK:

   No DTCs are output.
   

1. Replace the satellite radio antenna assembly (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000002XB101MX.html).
   

2. Clear the DTCs (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000011BU0JUX.html).
   

3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
   

   OK:

   No DTCs are output.
   

1. Replace the amplifier antenna assembly (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000002XB101LX.html).
   

2. Clear the DTCs (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000011BU0JUX.html).
   

3. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.
   

   OK:

   No DTCs are output.
   

1. Confirm if CH000 is currently selected.
   

   OK:

   CH000 is selected.
