DESCRIPTION

The signals are transmitted to the tire pressure warning antenna and receiver on the body as radio waves and then sent to the tire pressure warning ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:

When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
It is necessary to perform initialization (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000XMZ07PX.html) after registration (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000XN108OX.html) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU if the ECU has been replaced.

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT (C2176/76)

Clear the DTC (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000XMX089X.html).

Turn the ignition switch off.

Turn the ignition switch to ON and check for DTC (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000XMX089X.html).
OK:
DTC C2176/76 is not output.

REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000024T8027X.html)
