Power Window Regulator Motor (For Rear Door) -- Inspection



1. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141.Window Glass.Power Window Control System.Power Window Regulator Motor (For Rear Door) Inspection

  1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

    NOTICE:
    Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

  1. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

    OK:
    Measurement Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery negative (+) → Terminal 1 (U)
    Battery positive (-) → Terminal 2 (D)
    		Motor gear rotates clockwise
    Battery negative (+) → Terminal 2 (D)
    Battery positive (-) → Terminal 1 (U)
    		Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
    If the result is not specified, replace the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH.


2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141.Window Glass.Power Window Control System.Power Window Regulator Motor (For Rear Door) Inspection

  1. Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

    NOTICE:
    Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

  1. Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

    OK:
    Measurement Condition
    		Specified Condition
    Battery negative (+) → Terminal 1 (U)
    Battery positive (-) → Terminal 2 (D)
    		Motor gear rotates counterclockwise
    Battery negative (+) → Terminal 2 (D)
    Battery positive (-) → Terminal 1 (U)
    		Motor gear rotates clockwise
    If the result is not specified, replace the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH.
