  3. PERFORM REGISTRATION

  4. ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK

Occupant Classification Ecu -- Installation



1. INSTALL OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU


    Corolla. Zre142 Aze141

  1. Install the occupant classification ECU with the 2 claws.

    Torque:
    3.0 N*m{31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf}
    NOTICE:
    1. If the occupant classification ECU has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the occupant classification ECU with a new one.
    2. When installing the occupant classification ECU, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with other parts and that it is not pinched between other parts.
    3. Do not allow oil or grease to adhere to the occupant classification ECU during installation.

  1. Connect the connector.



2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Install the front seat assembly RH.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000Z8T0D2X.html).


3. PERFORM REGISTRATION

  1. If the occupant classification ECU has been replaced, perform registration (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000001QX402OX.html).



4. ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK

  1. If the occupant classification ECU has been replaced, perform zero point calibration and sensitivity check (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM0000010VN07SX.html).
