DESCRIPTION
The daytime running light relay receives the parking brake switch signal.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHT RELAY - BODY GROUND) |
Disconnect the E91 daytime running light relay connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester connection

E91-9 (PKB) - Body ground
| Parking brake is released
| 10 kΩ or higher
|
E91-9 (PKB) - Body ground
| Parking brake is applied
| Below 1 Ω
|
2.INSPECT PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY |
Remove the parking brake switch assembly.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:

| OFF (When shaft is pressed)
