Oil Pump Reassembly

Using SST and a hammer, install a new oil seal to the oil pump body.

HINT:

The seal end should be flush with the outer edge of the oil pump.

Coat the lip of the oil seal with MP grease.

Coat a new O-ring with ATF, and install it to the oil pump body.

NOTICE:

1. Install the O-ring carefully to avoid twists or pinches.
   
2. Apply sufficient ATF to the O-ring prior to installation.
   

Coat the front oil pump driven gear with ATF, and install it to the oil pump body with the marked side up.

Coat the front oil pump drive gear with ATF, and install it to the oil pump body with the marked side up.

Align the bolt holes in the stator shaft assembly with those in the front oil pump and gear body sub-assembly.

Using a "TORX" socket (T30), install the 11 bolts.

Torque:

9.8 N*m{100 kgf*cm, 87 in.*lbf}

Coat 2 new clutch drum oil seal rings with ATF.

Install the 2 clutch drum oil seal rings.

NOTICE:

Do not expand the ring ends excessively.
