INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the transmitter IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000XMZ07PX.html) after registration (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000XN108OX.html) of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU, after the ECU has been replaced.
1.CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SWITCH FUNCTION |
Perform the tire pressure warning reset switch test in Test Mode Procedure (COROLLA_ZRE142 RM000000XN008IX.html).
- OK:
- Reset switch ON:
- Tire pressure warning light comes on.
- Reset switch OFF:
- Tire pressure warning light blinks.
2.INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SWITCH |
Disconnect the tire pressure warning reset switch connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:

| Condition
| Specified Condition
|
E95-1 (INT) - E95-2 (E)
| ON
| Below 1 Ω
|
OFF
| 10 kΩ or higher
|
3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SW - TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU) |
Disconnect the tire pressure warning reset switch E95 connector and tire pressure warning ECU E94 connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection
| Switch Condition
| Specified Condition
|
E94-1 (CLSW) - E95-1 (INT)
| Always
