Front Seat Assembly (For Manual Seat) Disassembly

Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.

Remove the 2 screws and the vertical adjusting handle.

Remove the 3 screws.

Disengage the claw.

Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion shield.

Remove the 2 screws and the No. 1 seat track lower spacer.

Disconnect each connector and clamp.

Remove the nut and the front seat inner belt assembly.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the claw.

Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.

Remove the screw and the No. 2 seat track lower spacer.

Disengage the hook.

Remove the 2 hog rings.

Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.

Remove the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.

Remove the 10 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover.

Cut off the 8 tack pins and remove the front seat cushion heater assembly.

Remove the 4 hog rings.

Remove the 3 hog rings.

w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

1. Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.
   

Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

Remove the front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

Remove the 4 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover.

Cut off the 4 tack pins and remove the front seatback heater assembly.

Disengage the 2 hooks and remove the lumbar support plate.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the guide.

w/ Front Seat Side Airbag:

1. Disengage the clamp and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
   

Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

Remove the screw.

Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

Disengage the claw and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the claw and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the hook.

Disconnect the airbag wire harness from the seat track control cable clamp.

Disengage the claw and 2 wire harness clamps.

Disengage the 2 clamps.

Remove the 2 nuts to remove the front seat side airbag assembly.

CAUTION:

1. The nuts must not be reused.
   
2. Make sure that the front seat frame assembly with adjuster is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
   

Disengage the clamp and remove the seat track control cable clamp.

Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the claw and remove the front seat outer track bracket cover as shown in the illustration.

Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the active headrest upper unit as shown in the illustration.

Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest upper unit.

Remove the clamp.

Remove the 2 nuts and the active headrest lower unit.

Disconnect the connector from the occupant classification ECU.

Remove the 2 screws and occupant classification ECU.

Disconnect the connector.

Using a "TORX" socket wrench (T30), remove the "TORX" screw and seat position sensor with the seat slide position sensor protector.

Remove the seat position sensor from the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.

Disengage the 8 clamps and remove the front seat wire.
