  1. Fully extend the piston rod and secure the rear shock absorber assembly at an angle in a vise.

  1. Using a drill, make a hole in the cylinder as shown in the illustration to discharge the gas inside the cylinder.

    NOTICE:
    1. The gas is colorless, odorless, and non-poisonous.
    2. Be careful when drilling because shards of metal may fly about, so always use proper safety equipment.
