Lin Communication System -- Dtc Check / Clear


NOTICE:
  1. When using the intelligent tester with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot: Connect the intelligent tester to the vehicle, and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.
  2. Refer to the intelligent tester operator's manual for further details.

CHECK DTC

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.

  4. Turn the tester on.

  5. Read the DTCs by following the directions on the tester's screen.


CLEAR DTC

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  2. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  3. Turn the ignition switch to ON

  4. Turn the tester on.

  5. Erase the DTCs by following the directions on the tester's screen.
