  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  2. REMOVE BATTERY

  3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

  5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE TCM

Tcm -- Removal


NOTICE:
When the TCM is replaced, the existing transaxle compensation codes must be input into the new TCM (CAMRY_ACV40 RM000000TJ400CX_01_0002.html).


1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 7 clips and intake duct seal.



2. REMOVE BATTERY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Loosen the bolt and nut, and remove the battery clamp.

  1. Remove the battery and battery tray.



3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, clamp and air cleaner inlet.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the bolt and No. 1 air cleaner inlet.



5. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the clip, bolt and intake air resonator.



6. REMOVE TCM


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Turn the lock lever and disconnect the connector from the TCM.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and TCM from the transaxle.
