Headlight Cleaner Actuator Removal

Body Electrical. Camry. Acv40 Gsv40
Wiper And Washer. Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for 2GR-FE)

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

Headlight Cleaner Actuator -- Removal



1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for 2GR-FE)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 7 clips and cool air intake duct seal.



2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Wiper And Washer.Wiper And Washer System.Headlight Cleaner Actuator Removal

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Wiper And Washer.Wiper And Washer System.Headlight Cleaner Actuator Removal

  1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Remove the 8 screws, 2 clips, 2 radiator grille protectors and bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Disconnect 2 fog light connectors.

  1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

    1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the clearance sonar connector.

  1. Disconnect the headlight cleaner washer hose, and then remove the front bumper assembly.



3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER NOZZLE SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Extend the headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer nozzle sub-assembly.



4. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disconnect the headlight washer hose.

  1. Remove the bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly.
