Front Washer Motor Removal

Body Electrical. Camry. Acv40 Gsv40
Wiper And Washer. Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for 2GR-FE)

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Headlight Cleaner System)

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  4. DRAIN WASHER FLUID

  5. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY

  6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

Front Washer Motor -- Removal



1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for 2GR-FE)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 7 clips and cool air intake duct seal.



2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Headlight Cleaner System)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Wiper And Washer.Wiper And Washer System.Front Washer Motor Removal

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Wiper And Washer.Wiper And Washer System.Front Washer Motor Removal

  1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Remove the 8 screws, 2 clips, 2 radiator grille protectors and bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Disconnect each connector, and then remove the front bumper assembly.



3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

  1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

  1. Remove the 8 screws, 2 clips, 2 radiator grille protectors and bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Disconnect each connector.

  1. Disconnect the headlight cleaner washer hose, and then remove the front bumper assembly.



4. DRAIN WASHER FLUID


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disconnect the washer hose from the windshield washer motor and pump assembly, and drain the washer fluid.



5. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WASHER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the windshield washer motor and pump assembly.



6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER MOTOR AND PUMP ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disconnect the connector.

  1. Remove the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly.
