Ultrasonic Sensor (For Front Side) Removal

Body Electrical. Camry. Acv40 Gsv40
Park Assist Monitoring. Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for 2GR-FE)

  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Headlight Cleaner System)

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR

Ultrasonic Sensor (For Front Side) -- Removal



1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (for 2GR-FE)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Remove the 7 clips and cool air intake duct seal.



2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/o Headlight Cleaner System)


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Park Assist Monitoring.Toyota Parking Assist-Sensor System.Ultrasonic Sensor (For Front Side) Removal

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.Park Assist Monitoring.Toyota Parking Assist-Sensor System.Ultrasonic Sensor (For Front Side) Removal

  1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Remove the 8 screws, 2 clips, 2 radiator grille protectors and bolt.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.

    HINT:
    Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  1. Disconnect 2 fog light connectors.

  1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

    1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the clearance sonar connector.

  1. Remove the front bumper assembly.



3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  1. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

  1. Disconnect 2 fog light connectors.

  1. w/ TOYOTA Parking Assist-sensor System:

    1. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the clearance sonar connector.

  1. Disconnect the headlight cleaner washer hose, and then remove the front bumper assembly.



4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disconnect the connector.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor.
