DESCRIPTION
The ECM and the shift lock control ECU are connected by a cable and the CAN. If the cable information and CAN information are inconsistent, this DTC will be output.- HINT:
- After the main body ECU is replaced, perform the registration procedures for the engine immobiliser system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
1.READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the engine switch on (IG)..
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Body / Body / Data List.
Read the Data List according to the displays on the intelligent tester.

Disconnect the E9 and E57 ECU connectors.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

After replacing the main body ECU with a normally functioning ECU, check that the engine can start normally.
