Vane Pump (For 2Az-Fe) -- Removal |
| 1. DRAIN POWER STEERING FLUID |
| 2. REMOVE FAN & GENERATOR V BELT |
- HINT:
- Refer to the instructions for removal of the drive belt (Link).
| 3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 FLUID RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE |
Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 fluid reservoir to pump hose from the vane pump assembly.

| 4. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY (for LHD) |
Remove the union bolt and disconnect the pressure feed tube assembly from the vane pump assembly.
 |
Remove the gasket from the pressure feed tube assembly.
| 5. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE ASSEMBLY (for RHD) |
Remove the union bolt and disconnect the pressure feed tube assembly from the vane pump assembly.
 |
Remove the gasket from the pressure feed tube assembly.
| 6. DISCONNECT POWER STEERING FLUID PRESSURE SWITCH CONNECTOR |
Disconnect the power steering fluid pressure switch connector.
 |
| 7. REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY |
Using SST, loosen the 2 bolts and remove the vane pump assembly.

Remove the 2 bolts from the vane pump assembly.
 |
