  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

  2. INSTALL CLIP NUT

  3. REMOVE VACUUM HOSE CLAMP

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly -- Installation



1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY

  1. Apply a light coat of engine oil to an O-ring of the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly sensor.



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Install the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly sensor with the bolt.

    Torque:
    9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}

  1. Connect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly sensor connector.



2. INSTALL CLIP NUT


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40.2Az-Fe Engine Control System.Sfi System.Camshaft Timing Oil Control Valve Assembly Installation

  1. Install the clip nut.



3. REMOVE VACUUM HOSE CLAMP


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Install the vacuum hose clamp with the bolt.

    Torque:
    5.0 N*m{51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf}


4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY


    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. Install the engine cover with the 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    9.0 N*m{92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf}
