  2. FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (VEHICLE INVOLVED IN COLLISION AND AIRBAG HAS NOT DEPLOYED)

Front Seat Side Airbag Assembly (For Power Seat) -- On-Vehicle Inspection



1. FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (VEHICLE NOT INVOLVED IN COLLISION)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (CAMRY_ACV40 RM000000XFE07JX.html).

  1. With the front seat side airbag assembly installed on the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects as mentioned below, replace the front seat assembly with a new one:

    1. Cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the front seatback assembly around the front seat side airbag assembly.


2. FRONT SEAT SIDE AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (VEHICLE INVOLVED IN COLLISION AND AIRBAG HAS NOT DEPLOYED)

  1. Perform a diagnostic system check (CAMRY_ACV40 RM000000XFE07JX.html).



    Camry. Acv40 Gsv40

  1. With the front seat side airbag assembly removed from the vehicle, perform a visual check. If there are any defects as mentioned below, replace the front seat assembly with a new one:

    1. Cuts, minute cracks or marked discoloration on the front seat side airbag assembly.
    2. Cracks or other damage to the wire harness or connector.
    3. Deformation or cracks on the front seat assembly.
