REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY (except Face to Face Seat Type) - DISASSEMBLY

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.
1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER BOLT COVER
Rear No. 2 Seat Assembly (Except Face To Face Seat Type) - Disassembly. SEAT. Land Cruiser URJ200 URJ202 GRJ200 VDJ200

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the cover.

  • HINT:
  • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. REMOVE NO. 2 RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

Remove the screw and release handle.

3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER LH

Remove the screw.

Detach the 3 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.

4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH

Remove the screw.

Detach the 5 claws in the order shown in the illustration, and then remove the cover.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT REAR BRACKET COVER REAR

Detach the 2 claws and cover.

6. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SEAT LEG COVER LH

Using a screwdriver, remove the spring of the seat stay ball-joint.

Disconnect the seat stay.

Remove the 2 screws and cover.

7. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT LEG COVER NO. 2

Remove the screw and seat leg cover.

8. REMOVE 3RD SEAT LINK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

Remove the bolt, nut and seat link.

9. REMOVE 3RD SEAT CUSHION LOCK COVER

Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 covers.

10. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION UNDER COVER LH

Detach the 16 claws.

Remove the 7 screws and cover.

11. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT FRONT BRACKET COVER LH

Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

12. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT LEG COVER NO. 2

Remove the 2 screws.

Detach the 4 claws and remove the cover.

13. REMOVE REAR SEAT LOCK COVER LH

Remove the 2 screws.

Detach the 2 clamps and remove the 2 covers.

14. REMOVE SEAT STAND FRAME CAP

Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the stand frame cap.

Remove the screw.

Detach the claw and remove the release lever.

Detach the cable clamp and disconnect the cable.

16. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT INNER BELT LH (w/ Rear Center Seat Headrest)

Remove the nut and belt.

  • HINT:
  • The rear No. 2 seat inner belt is fixed with the same nut as the rear seat inner belt. Therefore, it becomes disconnected when the nut is removed.
17. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT INNER BELT RH (w/ Rear Center Seat Headrest)

Remove the belt.

18. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT INNER BELT SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the nut and belt.

  • HINT:
  • The rear No. 2 seat inner belt is fixed with the same nut as the rear seat outer belt. Therefore, it becomes disconnected when the nut is removed.
19. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION CARPET

Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat cushion carpet to the seat cushion pad, and then remove the seat cushion carpet from the seat cushion pad.

20. REMOVE CAP

Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 caps.

21. REMOVE NO. 2 BOTTLE HOLDER

Remove the 2 screws and No. 2 bottle holder.

22. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

24. REMOVE NO. 3 SEAT CUSHION COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

w/o Bottle Holder:

Remove the hog rings.

Detach the fastening tape and remove the seat cushion cover.

Detach the 2 cable clamps and disconnect the 2 cables.

27. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEATBACK CUSHION

Remove the screw and seatback cushion.

28. REMOVE REAR LOWER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL

Detach the 3 claws and clip, and then remove the seatback lock bezel.

Detach the 5 claws and remove the guide.

30. REMOVE REAR SEAT HINGE PAWL GUIDE

Remove the screw and guide.

31. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (w/ Folding Headrest)

While releasing the lock inside the headrest support with a screwdriver, remove the headrest.

Remove the rear seat protector.

Detach the hook.
Remove the rear seat protector.

Remove the rear seat protector.

Remove the 2 nuts and lock striker.

Detach the 3 claws and remove the cover.

Detach the 2 clamps and remove the cover.

42. REMOVE NO. 2 SEAT RECLINING RELEASE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the bolt and release handle.
