FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat) - INSTALLATION
- CAUTION:
- Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.
- HINT:
| 1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH |
Place the front seat assembly LH in the cabin.
- NOTICE:
- Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
Connect the connectors under the front seat assembly LH.
Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- NOTICE:
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected ().
Temporarily install the front seat assembly LH with the 4 bolts.
Operate the power seat switch (slide switch) to move the front seat assembly LH to the rearmost position.
Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
- Torque:
- 37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}
Operate the power seat switch (slide switch) to move the front seat assembly LH to the foremost position.
Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.
- Torque:
- 37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf}
| 2. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the rear inner seat track bracket cover LH.
| 3. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the rear outer seat track bracket cover LH.
| 4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the front inner seat track bracket cover LH.
| 5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH |
Attach the 2 claws to install the front outer seat track bracket cover LH.
Restore the Autoaway/Return function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter ().
| 6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY |
Install the front seat headrest assembly.
| 7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT |

| 8. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY |
w/ Seat Position Memory System:
Check the power seat operation ().
w/o Seat Position Memory System:
Check the power seat operation ().
w/ Seat Heater System:
Check the seat heater operation.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the seat heater switch on.
Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
w/ Climate Control Seat System:
Check the climate control seat operation.
When the climate control seat switch is turned on, check that the seat heater and blower operate based on the seat temperature.
If the seat temperature increases as a result of the seat heater operation, check that the seat heater operation stops and the blower operation continues.

- Based on the cabin temperature, seat temperature, etc., the seat heater operation time varies.
