ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM (w/o Entry and Start System) - DTC CHECK / CLEAR
- HINT:
If the ignition switch cannot be turned to ON, communication with the intelligent tester can be performed by connecting the intelligent tester to the vehicle and turning a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the intelligent tester and vehicle begins.
Refer to the intelligent tester operator's manual for further details.
| CHECK FOR TRANSPONDER KEY ECU ASSEMBLY DTC |
Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Body / Immobiliser / DTC.
Check for DTCs.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / DTC.
Check for DTCs.

Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the intelligent tester on.
Enter the following menus: Body / Immobiliser / DTC.
Clear the DTCs.
