POWER BACK DOOR SYSTEM - OPERATION CHECK

Power back door open operation conditions:
Power back door close operation conditions:
Check the open operation.
With the back door fully closed, push the door control switch and check that the buzzer sounds for 0.8 seconds, the hazard warning lights flash twice* and the back door open operation begins.
With the back door fully closed, push the transmitter switch and check that the buzzer sounds for 0.8 seconds, the hazard warning lights flash twice* and the back door open operation begins.
Check the close operation.
With the back door fully open, push the door control switch and check that the buzzer sounds for 0.8 seconds, the hazard warning lights flash twice* and the back door close operation begins.
With the back door fully open, push the transmitter switch and check that the buzzer sounds for 0.8 seconds, the hazard warning lights flash twice* and the back door close operation begins.
With the back door fully open, push the back door control switch and check that the buzzer sounds for 0.8 seconds, the hazard warning lights flash twice* and the back door close operation begins.
Check the operation when another input is detected during the open/close operation.
During the back door open operation, push the door control switch, transmitter switch or back door control switch again, and check that the buzzer sounds for 0.2 seconds, the back door operation reverses and the close operation is performed.
During the back door close operation, push the door control switch, transmitter switch or back door control switch again, and check that the buzzer sounds for 0.2 seconds, the back door operation reverses and the open operation is performed.
During the back door close operation, touch the power back door sensor and check that the buzzer sounds, the back door operation reverses and the open operation is performed.
Check the operation of the back door closer.
Set the back door to the half-latch position by hand, and check that the back door motor operates and the door fully closes.
Operate the back door opener switch and check that the back door opens.
Set the back door to the half-latch position by hand, then operate the back door opener switch during the close operation and check that the back door open operation is performed.

Check the jam protection function.
During the back door close operation, block the door by hand (slow down the operating speed) or touch the power back door sensor and check that the back door operation reverses and the open operation is performed.

- Perform the inspection after the close operation has begun and the back door has moved 30 cm (11.8 in.) or more.
