EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR (for DPF) - INSPECTION
| 1. INSPECT EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR |
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 50°C (122°F) 42 to 68 kΩ
- HINT:
- The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
If the result is not as specified, replace the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
| 2. INSPECT NO. 2 EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR |
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 50°C (122°F) 42 to 68 kΩ
- HINT:
- The temperature indicated under "Condition" is the temperature of the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
If the result is not as specified, replace the No. 2 exhaust gas temperature sensor.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
