Land Cruiser URJ200 URJ202 GRJ200 VDJ200 - AB60F AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE

PARK / NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH - REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (w/ DPF)

Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.

Park / Neutral Position Switch - Removal. AB60F AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE. Land Cruiser URJ200  URJ202 GRJ200 VDJ200

Disconnect the 2 air hoses.

Disconnect the exhaust gas temperature sensor connector and detach the clamp.

Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs and disconnect the front exhaust pipe assembly from the center exhaust pipe assembly.

Remove the 3 nuts and front exhaust pipe.

Remove the 2 gaskets from the front exhaust pipe assembly.

2. DISCONNECT FLOOR SHIFT GEAR SHIFTING ROD SUB-ASSEMBLY

Remove the clip and pin, and disconnect the shifting rod from the transmission control shaft lever RH.

3. REMOVE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

Disconnect the switch connector.

Remove the nut, spring washer and transmission control shaft lever RH.

Remove the collar and transmission control rod bush from the transmission control shaft lever RH.

Using a screwdriver, bend the tabs of the lock washer.

Remove the lock nut and lock washer.

Park / Neutral Position Switch - Removal. AB60F AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION / TRANSAXLE. Land Cruiser URJ200  URJ202 GRJ200 VDJ200

Remove the bolt and switch.

  • HINT:
  • Make sure that the manual valve lever shaft has not been rotated prior to installing the park/neutral position switch as the detent spring may become detached from the manual valve lever shaft.
