Apply the parking brake.

Transmission Wire - Installation
Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the transmission wire.
Transmission Wire - Inspection
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.
- Standard resistance:
ATF Temperature Specified Condition 20°C (68°F) 3 to 4 kΩ 110°C (230°F) 0.22 to 0.28 kΩ
If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the transmission wire.
Transmission Wire - Removal
Remove the drain plug and gasket, and drain the ATF.

Speed Sensor - Installation
Coat a new O-ring with ATF and install it to the transmission revolution.
Speed Sensor - Inspection
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
| Tester Connection | Specified Condition (20°C (68°F)) |
| 1 - 2 | 560 to 680 Ω |
If the resistance value is not as specified, replace the speed sensor.
Speed Sensor - Removal
Disconnect the transmission revolution sensor connector.
