This section should be used as a guide for troubleshooting when the turbocharger is suspected as the cause of a problem.

Do not stop the engine immediately after pulling a trailer, driving at a high speed, or driving uphill. Let the engine idle for 20 to 120 seconds before turning the engine switch off. According to the driving conditions, vary the idling time.

Install a new gasket and the No. 2 intake manifold with the 9 bolts.

Using a precision straightedge and feeler gauge, measure the warpage of the contact surface between the No. 1 and No. 3 intake manifold, and the No. 1 intake manifold and cylinder head.

Remove the 3 bolts and screw.

Install the inlet air cleaner seal bracket with the 2 bolts.

Remove the bolt, air pre-cleaner and No. 2 inlet air cleaner bracket.
