Combustion Type Power Heater System - Power Heater Switch Circuit
When the power heater switch is turned on, the power heater ECU (combustion heater assembly) sends a drive signal to the heater fuel pump. The combustion heater assembly then receives fuel necessary for combustion and starts operating.
Combustion Type Power Heater System - Power Heater Fuel Pump Circuit
When the power heater switch is turned on, the heater fuel pump receives a drive voltage from the power heater ECU (combustion heater assembly). The heater fuel pump provides the combustion heater assembly with fuel necessary for combustion, allowing the combustion heater assembly to operate.
Combustion Type Power Heater System - Power Heater Alternator Circuit
When the alternator does not generate electricity, current flows from the IG2 relay to power heater resistors No. 1 and No. 2. Then the current flows to the diode (for power heater), terminal E82-4 (L) of the alternator, and then to ground. As a result, the power heater ECU will not activate.
