The back-up power source circuit for the A/C amplifier is shown below. Power is supplied even when turning the engine switch off and is used for diagnostic trouble code memory, etc.
The low pressure sensor reduces the capacity of the compressor when the compressor is operating at high speed. This sensor monitors the pressure on the low pressure side at terminal CUT+ and sends a signal to terminal PSW of the A/C amplifier, which increases the accuracy of compressor control.
The A/C amplifier sends a magnetic clutch ON command signal to the ECM through the BEAN line and CAN line. Then the ECM turns the A/C COMP relay on to turn the magnetic clutch on.
